2 lb. | Hamburger |
2 | Big buttons Garlic (grated) |
10 Tbsp. | Plain Red Chili Powder |
1 level Tbsp. | Cumino Seed |
Scant Tbsp. | Cumino Seed (powder form) |
1 Tbsp. | Oregano |
1 Tbsp. | Salt |
Water | |
1 Can | Tomato Paste |
1 Tbsp. | Flour |
Instructions
- Melt 2 Tbsp. Crisco in frying pan.
- Pour in Hamburger (2 lb.).
- Cook a while & add Garlic (2 big buttons grated).
- Add 10 Tbsp. Plain Red Chili Powder.
- Add 1 level Tbsp. Cumino Seed (not quite 1 Tbsp. if powder form).
- Add 1 Tbsp. Oregano.
- Add 1 Tbsp. Salt.
- Stir thoroughly.
- Add enough Water to cover.
- Add 1 Can Tomato Paste.
- Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. Flour.
- Cook from 20 to 30 minutes.
To Serve (As Enchiladas)
- Fry Tortillas until crisp.
- Layer with Grated Cheese, Chili, Onions, & top with Iceberg Lettuce.
- Add a second layer of same.
