MeasurementsIngredients
2 Tbsp.Crisco
2 lb.Hamburger
2Big buttons Garlic (grated)
10 Tbsp.Plain Red Chili Powder
1 level Tbsp.Cumino Seed
Scant Tbsp.Cumino Seed (powder form)
1 Tbsp.Oregano
1 Tbsp.Salt
Water
1 CanTomato Paste
1 Tbsp.Flour

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 Tbsp. Crisco in frying pan.
  2. Pour in Hamburger (2 lb.).
  3. Cook a while & add Garlic (2 big buttons grated).
  4. Add 10 Tbsp. Plain Red Chili Powder.
  5. Add 1 level Tbsp. Cumino Seed (not quite 1 Tbsp. if powder form).
  6. Add 1 Tbsp. Oregano.
  7. Add 1 Tbsp. Salt.
  8. Stir thoroughly.
  9. Add enough Water to cover.
  10. Add 1 Can Tomato Paste.
  11. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. Flour.
  12. Cook from 20 to 30 minutes.

To Serve (As Enchiladas)

  1. Fry Tortillas until crisp.
  2. Layer with Grated Cheese, Chili, Onions, & top with Iceberg Lettuce.
  3. Add a second layer of same.
