MeasurementsIngredients
1 CloveGarlic
3 TbspFat
3 lbShort Ribs (Cut in Chunks)
3 MediumOnions
1 cupVinegar
1 tspCurry Powder
1 tspPaprika
¼ tspChili Powder
1 TbspBrown Sugar
1 cupBeef Stock
1 tspSalt
½ tspPepper
½ tspDry Mustard

Instructions

  1. Start oven 350°.
  2. Chop up garlic fine.
  3. Then heat the fat in heavy skillet.
  4. Add garlic & short ribs & brown well on both sides.
  5. Transfer meat & drippings to a large casserole or Dutch oven.
  6. Slice up onions & add to meat.
  7. Mix up all remaining ingredients & pour over the beef.
  8. Cover very tightly & bake 1½ hours - until tender.
  9. To serve, place ribs on platter & pour sauce over them.
