Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce (Day Before Recommended): Make a spaghetti sauce by cooking the hamburger with solid pack tomatoes, onions, garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer until flavors are blended.
- Prepare the Dough: Follow the directions on the Betty Crocker Hot Roll Mix package to prepare the pizza dough. Let it rise in a bowl for an hour or more, until puffed up.
- Divide the dough in half (this makes two pizzas).
- Place each half on an oiled cookie sheet and flatten it out until the sheet is covered evenly. Poke the dough with a fork to make holes.
- Assemble the Pizza (3 hours ahead of time noted on card):
- Spread out the head dough.
- Spread the sauce over the dough.
- Add your desired “top 3” ingredients (e.g., anchovies, mushrooms, strips of onion).
- Grate the mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake:
- When ready to go, put the pizza in a preheated 400°F oven.
- Bake for 6-10 minutes. (The card notes “Done, look to it,” so watch closely).
