Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan, melt 1/3 cup butter.
  2. Meanwhile, on a piece of wax paper, combine bread crumbs, cheese, and spices (basil, oregano, garlic, salt).
  3. Dip chicken in melted butter, then roll in crumb mixture to coat.
  4. Place skin side up in an ungreased 9-inch pan.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and chicken is tender.
  6. Meanwhile, add wine, green onion, and parsley to remaining melted butter (about 1/2 cup).
  7. When chicken is done, pour butter-sauce mixture around and over.
  8. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes, or until sauce is hot.
