Instructions

  1. Brown ground meat in a skillet.
  2. Add chili powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped onion.
  3. Cook meat mixture in skillet 30-45 minutes.
  4. Heat salad oil in another pan. Dip tortillas in hot oil briefly (about a minute, or until softened).
  5. Fill softened tortillas with the meat mixture and roll them up.
  6. Place rolled tortillas seam-side down in a baking dish.
  7. Heat 1 can tomato sauce to boiling. Add 1 can water and mix.
  8. Pour the tomato sauce mixture over the tortillas in the baking dish.
  9. Top with grated cheese.
  10. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
