Two CupsFlour
One CupShortening
TeaspoonSalt
Cup (or more)Ice Water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine two cups of flour and teaspoon of salt.
  2. Cut up one cup of shortening into the flour with a fork or knife until the mixture is crumbly.
  3. Melt cubes of ice in cup of water (you may need more).
  4. Stir the ice water in lightly until you can press the dough together.
  5. Gather the dough in wax paper and squeeze together.
  6. Roll out on a floured canvas or breadboard.

For one pie use half recipe
