One CupSemi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
One & CupsHalf-and-Half, Scalded
TwoEgg Yolks
Three TablespoonsBrandy
For ServingWhipped Cream
For ServingCrisp, Not-Too-Sweet Cookies

Instructions

  1. Put one cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, one and a half cups of scalded half-and-half, two egg yolks, and three tablespoons of brandy into a blender.
  2. Cover the blender and process at “blend” speed until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Fill individual serving cups or ramekins about two-thirds full with the chocolate mixture.
  4. Cover the cups and chill for at least three hours, or until firm. The dessert may be refrigerated overnight.
  5. When ready to serve, fill the cups with whipped cream.
  6. Serve with crisp, not-too-sweet cookies.
