Measurements | Ingredients |

1 pound | Butter (Never Oleo) |
1/4 cup | Powdered Sugar |
5 cups | Flour |
1 tablespoon | Rice Flour (Optional) |
Instructions
- Mix butter and sugar well.
- Blend in flour with hands.
- Pat out and use cookie press or cut into shapes.
- In Scotland, the dough is shaped like a pie crust, pierced with a fork, put in refrigerator for an hour, then baked at 350°F until slightly brown.
- (When using cookie press or cutting into shapes, I do not refrigerate.)
- Cut painful while hot (until lite brown).
- Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes for cookies.
