Measurements | Ingredients |

6 extra large | Eggs |
1¼ cups | Sugar |
1 cup | Butter or Margarine, Melted & Cooled |
6 Tbsp | Vanilla |
3½ cups | Flour |
4 tsp | Baking Powder |
Instructions
- Preheat pizelle iron for 10-15 min while preparing batter.
- Beat eggs until frothy.
- Gradually add sugar while continuing to beat.
- Beat until sugar is dissolved & batter is smooth.
- Add melted butter & vanilla.
- Sift flour & baking powder & add to egg mixture.
- Mix until smooth. Batter will be thick & sticky.
- Drop a heaping Tbsp. batter into center of preheated pizzelle iron & bake until lightly browned.
- Repeat.
- Discard first & second pizzelles.
