2 CupsQuick Oats
⅔ CupFlaked Coconut
1 CupButter Or Margarine
1 CupSugar
2Eggs
3 Tbsp.Milk
1 ½ tsp.Vanilla
1 ½ CupSifted Flour
½ tspSoda
½ tspSalt

Instructions

  1. Toast Oats And Coconut In Oven Till Golden Brown.
  2. Thoroughly Cream Butter And Sugar.
  3. Add Eggs, Milk, And Vanilla, Beating Well.
  4. Sift Dry Ingredients, Add To Creamed Mixture Blending Well.
  5. Stir In Oats And Coconut.
  6. Drop From Teaspoon 2 Inches Apart On Ungreased Cookie Sheet.
  7. Flatten With Tumbler Dipped In Sugar.
  8. If Desired Sprinkle Tops With Untoasted Coconut.
  9. Bake In Hot Oven 400 Degrees For 8 To 10 Minutes.
