Measurements | Ingredients |

18 oz. Can | Crushed Pineapple in Natural Juices |
3 cups | Flour |
½ tsp | Salt |
1 tsp | Baking Soda |
½ cup | Butter, Softened |
1½ cups | Sugar |
2 | Eggs |
1 tsp | Almond Extract |
½ cup | Chopped Nuts for Sprinkling |
Glaze
Measurements | Ingredients |

¼ cup | Soft Butter |
2 cups | Confectioners’ Sugar |
3 Tbsp | Pineapple Juice |
Instructions
- Drain pineapple & reserve juice for glaze.
- Sift together flour, salt, & baking soda.
- In a large bowl, cream butter & sugar until light & fluffy.
- Beat in eggs.
- Then beat in dry ingredients until just blended.
- Fold in pineapple & extract.
- Drop by Tbsp. 2” apart on greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350°F for 10 min.
- Cool.
- Make glaze by combining confectioners’ sugar, juice & butter.
- Spread over cookies & sprinkle with chopped nuts.
