Instructions
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the baking powder, salt, and cake flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Shape the dough as desired and place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
