¼ Cup | Sugar |
2 | Eggs |
½ Cup | Whiskey |
4 tsp. | Anise Seed |
½ Cup | Cold Water |
1 tsp. | Salt |
1 ½ tsp. | Soda |
6 Cups | Flour |
Instructions
- Cream Lard One Hour. (Blender 15 Minutes)
- Add Sugar ½ At A Time.
- Cream Each Add. For 30 Minutes (Blender 5 Minutes)
- Add Eggs, One At A Time.
- Cream 15 Minutes After Each. (Blender 5 Minutes)
- Add Anise Seed and Whiskey.
- Sift 2 Cups Flour With Salt & Soda.
- Add To Lard Mixture Alternately With Cold Water.
- Add Remainder Of Flour.
- Refrigerate Overnight.
- Roll Out ¼ Inch Thick.
- Bake at 350 Degrees for 15 Minutes.
- Dust With Sugar and Cinnamon Mixture.
