PoundVanilla Wafers, Ground
1 CupNuts, Chopped
2 TablespoonsCocoa Powder
CupLight Corn Syrup
CupRum, Bourbon, Cream, or Whiskey
As NeededPowdered Sugar (Confectioners’ Sugar, for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Grind lb. vanilla wafers. Chop 1 cup of nuts.
  2. Combine all ingredients: ground vanilla wafers, chopped nuts, 2 tablespoons cocoa, cup light corn syrup, and cup rum (or bourbon, cream, or whiskey).
  3. Mix to a thick paste.
  4. Roll into balls.
  5. Roll the balls in powdered sugar.
