Recipe

MeasurementsIngredients
1 CupWhite Sugar
1 CupBrown Sugar
1 CupDark Corn Syrup
½ CupButter
2 CupsHeavy Cream
1 TablespoonVanilla Extract
Chopped Nuts (Possibly Pecans)

Instructions

  1. Place Sugar, Karo, Butter, and one cup of the Cream in a kettle.
  2. Bring to a boil and add remaining cup of Cream slowly so boiling does not stop.
  3. Prevent burning by stirring often.
  4. Cook until the mixture forms a firm ball in cold water.
  5. Remove from fire.
  6. Add Vanilla and Nuts.
  7. Pour into a buttered pan.
  8. Cut into squares.
