Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (slow oven).
- Mix the first three ingredients ( cup butter, cup brown sugar, and two cups flour) together.
- Press this mixture into an ungreased shallow pan (10x15x inch specified on card, though inch depth seems very shallow, likely 10x15x1 or 10x15x2 inch pan is intended).
- Bake in the slow oven (325°F) for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle the chocolate bits over the hot base. Let them sit for a few minutes until they are melted.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the base.
- Sprinkle with cup of chopped nuts.
- Cut into 1 & inch wide squares while still warm.
