1 TbspBaking Powder
½ tspSalt
⅓ C.Butter
1Egg
½ CMilk
6 TbspSugar

Instructions

  1. Sift Together Flour, Baking Powder, Sugar, And Salt.
  2. Cut In Butter With Pastry Blender Until Mixture Resembles Coarse Meal.
  3. Pour Beaten Egg Into Measuring Cup And Add Milk To Make ¾ Cup.
  4. Gradually Stir Into Flour Mixture.
  5. Knead 20 Seconds.
  6. Pat Half The Dough Into Round Greased 8 Inch Cake Pan.
  7. Brush With Melted Butter.
  8. Pat Out Remaining Half Of Dough And Place On Top.
  9. Bake At 450 Degrees For 12 To 15 Minutes.
