Recipe

MeasurementsIngredients
2 CupsFlour
2 CupsSugar
1 StickOleo
1/2 CupCrisco
1 CupWater
4 Tbsp.Cocoa
2Eggs
1 tspBaking Soda
1/2 CupButtermilk or Milk + 1 Tbsp. Vinegar
1 tspVanilla
Chocolate Icing

Instructions

  1. Bake 30 min 450°.
  2. Put in large mixing bowl Flour and Sugar.
  3. Put in pot and bring to a boil, Oleo, Crisco, Water and Cocoa. Pour over flour + sugar.
  4. Add 2 eggs, 1 tsp Soda, 1/2 Cup buttermilk or milk+ 1 Tbsp. vinegar.
  5. 1 tsp vanilla.
  6. Mix & pour into greased cookie sheet & bake.

Icing

  1. Mix and Pour Chocolate Icing over Hot Cake
