1 ½ cupsFlour
1 cupWhite Sugar
3 Tbsp.Cocoa
1 tsp.Salt
1 tsp.Baking Soda
1 Tbsp.Vinegar
1 Tbsp.Vanilla
5 Tbsp.Salad Oil
1 cupCold Water

Instructions

  1. In a 9x9 cake pan, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, and baking soda.
  2. Make three dents in the dry ingredients.
  3. In the first dent, pour 1 Tbsp. vinegar.
  4. In the second dent, pour 1 Tbsp. vanilla.
  5. In the third dent, pour 5 Tbsp. salad oil.
  6. Pour 1 cup of cold water over the flour mixture and all other ingredients.
  7. Mix thoroughly.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
