Recipe

Note

You can use a white or yellow cake mix. You can use your own recipe for same.

MeasurementsIngredients
Cake Mix
3Eggs
1 11 Ounce canMandarin Oranges, undrained
1/2 CupOil
1/2 CupCoconut
Cream of Coconut
12ozCool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix well
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  3. Cook for 30 to 35 minutes
  4. Remove from oven and let cool for about 1 hour.
  5. Put holes in cake about 1 or 1 1/2 apart and slowly saturate with cream of coconut. Saturating the cake slowly and completely is important.
  6. Use 12 ounces of Cool Whip and add 1 cup coconut, use as icing.
  7. If desired, toast 1 1/2 cups of coconut and let cool, then garnish cake.
