1 cup | Milk |
4 | Egg Whites |
1/4 teaspoon | Salt |
Instructions
- Cream butter.
- Add sugar.
- Add egg yolks.
- Add vanilla.
- Sift together cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients alternately to butter and egg mixture with milk.
- Beat until stiff 4 egg whites and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
- Fold whites into batter.
- Pour batter into 3 9-inch cake pans that have been oiled and floured.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Cool on rack.
