Cup + 2 TbspMargarine, melted
6 TbspCocoa Powder
1 CupSugar
CupFlour
2Eggs
PinchSalt
tspBaking Powder
1 tspVanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to ().
  2. Grease and flour a 9x9 inch square baking pan.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, lightly beat the 2 eggs.
  4. Stir in the melted margarine ( Cup + 2 Tbsp).
  5. Stir in the 1 Cup of sugar and 6 Tbsp of cocoa powder until well combined.
  6. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the Cup flour, pinch of salt, and tsp baking powder.
  7. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  8. Stir in the 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared 9x9 inch pan and spread it evenly.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs attached (do not overbake).
  11. Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
