Measurements | Ingredients |

1 Cake | Yeast or 1 pkg Fast Rising Dry Yeast |
¼ Cup | Luke Warm Water |
¼ Cup | Shortening |
¼ Cup | Sugar |
2 Teaspoons | Salt |
2 Cups | Scalded Milk |
2 | Eggs, beaten |
5 to 6 Cups | Sifted Flour |
Instructions
- Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
- Measure shortening & sugar/salt in mixing bowl.
- Add scalded milk.
- Cool to lukewarm.
- Add softened yeast, eggs, & flour.
- Beat until smooth.
- Let rise until double in bulk.
- Stir down & with a spoon fill well-oiled muffin pans ½ full.
- Let rise until double in bulk.
- Bake at 375°-400° 15 to 20 min.
- makes 30 medium rolls.
