Instructions
- Combine sugar, milk, & butter.
- Cook slowly, stirring constantly until mixture boils.
- Boil slowly to 240F (or when dropped into cold water forms a semi-firm ball).
- Remove from heat.
- Add dates & nuts; stir until mixture thickens.
- Form into two rolls, 1 1/2” in diameter.
- Wrap in a damp cloth; chill until firm.
