MeasurementsIngredients
4Potatoes, grated
1/4 CupFlour
1Egg, slightly beaten
1 TeaspoonSalt
1 TeaspoonOnion, grated, if desired
Vegetable Shortening

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients in order given.
  2. Shape into cakes.
  3. Fry in vegetable shortening until crisp on both sides.
  4. Serve at once with sour cream.
