Recipe

MeasurementsIngredients
1 cupSifted Flour
2 1/2 cupsCoarsely Shredded Apples (3 large apples)
1/2 tsp.Salt
1/3 cupLemon Juice
2 tsp.Sugar
1/2 cupSugar
1 1/2 cupsMilk
1 1/2 tspGround Cinnamon
4Eggs
2 to 3 TbspButter or Oleo

Instructions

  1. Sift Flour, Salt, + Sugar Into Bowl.
  2. Gradually Add Milk, Stir Constantly To Make a Smooth Batter.
  3. Add Eggs One at a Time - Beating Thoroughly After Each Addition.
  4. Fold in Apples and Lemon Juice.
  5. Heat Some of the Butter in Heavy 6 Inch Skillet Over Low Heat.
  6. Pour in 1/3 Cup of the Batter.
  7. Brown Slowly on One Side; Turn & Brown on Other Side.
  8. Keep Hot in Warm Oven While Making Up Rest of Batter.
  9. Combine Sugars & Cinnamon & Sprinkle Over Hot Pancakes.
  10. Makes 6 Pancakes.
