Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the wet ingredients: two eggs, cup oil, and cup honey.
  2. Stir in one cup of yoghurt (or sour cream) and one cup of buttermilk.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: two cups flour, two teaspoons baking powder, one teaspoon baking soda, one teaspoon ground cardamom, and teaspoon salt.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.
  5. Stir just until lightly mixed. A few lumps are okay.
  6. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately cup for each pancake.
  8. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges are dry, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
