1 can (~12 oz)Frozen Hawaiian Punch Concentrate, thawed

Instructions

  1. Bring [2 Cups] water to a boil, add [1 Tbsp] cloves, [2 Tbsp] all spice, [and 2] cinnamon sticks.
  2. Simmer 15 min. & strain [discarding solids, reserving the spiced liquid].
  3. Put tea[,] sugar, spice liquid, orange juice [concentrate], Hawaiian punch [concentrate] + wine In deep fat fryer (or lg kettle)…
    • SAFETY WARNING: Heating alcoholic beverages like wine in a deep fat fryer can be extremely dangerous due to the risk of ignition. It is strongly recommended to use a large kettle on the stovetop over low heat or a slow cooker instead. Never leave heating alcohol unattended.
  4. …& heat to serving temperature - Do Not Boil.
  5. Garnish with thin lemon slices stuck with whole cloves.

Note

I used 1/2 the sugar, a little more tea + wine.” *(This suggests using 1/2 cup sugar and slightly increasing tea/wine amounts is a possible variation).
