1 tsp | Celery Flakes |
1 Med | Onion, Chopped |
1 Can | Crab Meat, drained |
1 Sm | Green Pepper, Chopped |
Salt & Pepper | |
1 Recipe | Thick Cream Sauce?? |
Cracker Meal | |
1/2 tsp | Thyme |
1 | Egg, beaten |
1 tsp | Minced Parsley |
Fat, for frying |
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet.
- Saute onion and pepper until soft & transparent.
- Combine onion mixture, cream sauce, thyme, parsley, celery flakes, crab meat, salt & pepper.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Add enough cracker meal to make a mashed potato consistency.
- Mix well.
- Refrigerate, covered, for several hours.
- Shape into small patties.
- Dip patties into egg.
- Coat with cracker meal.
- Fry in a small amount of fat until brown.
