Four Cups | Shredded Sharp Natural Cheddar Cheese |
Cup | Beer |
Cup | Ginger Ale |
Two Teaspoons | Worcestershire Sauce |
Teaspoon | Dry Mustard |
Teaspoon | Garlic Powder |
Dash | Hot Pepper Sauce |
One Tablespoon | Cornstarch |
Two Tablespoons | Water |
For Dipping | French Bread Cubes, Raw Vegetables, Cooked Meat |
Instructions
- Have cheese at room temperature.
- Beat cheese at low speed until blended.
- Add beer and ginger ale SLOWLY.
- Beat until fluffy.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, garlic powder, and hot pepper sauce.
- Beat well.
- Melt mixture in a fondue pot on the range.
- Blend cornstarch and two tablespoons of water.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the cheese mixture.
- Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Note
Serve with French bread cubes, raw vegetables, and cooked meat for dipping.
