Four CupsShredded Sharp Natural Cheddar Cheese
CupBeer
CupGinger Ale
Two TeaspoonsWorcestershire Sauce
TeaspoonDry Mustard
TeaspoonGarlic Powder
DashHot Pepper Sauce
One TablespoonCornstarch
Two TablespoonsWater
For DippingFrench Bread Cubes, Raw Vegetables, Cooked Meat

Instructions

  1. Have cheese at room temperature.
  2. Beat cheese at low speed until blended.
  3. Add beer and ginger ale SLOWLY.
  4. Beat until fluffy.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, garlic powder, and hot pepper sauce.
  6. Beat well.
  7. Melt mixture in a fondue pot on the range.
  8. Blend cornstarch and two tablespoons of water.
  9. Add the cornstarch mixture to the cheese mixture.
  10. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.

Note

Serve with French bread cubes, raw vegetables, and cooked meat for dipping.
